An Afternoon at Back Pew Brewing

The Kingwood Big Band is excited to announce that it will be performing at Back Pew Brewing on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 2 pm to 6 pm. Accompanying the Big Band will be a variety of local vocalists. The performance will consist of a wide variety of popular pieces with the intent of appealing to the interests of a diverse audience – both from a generational point of view as well as genres. At the same time, the selected music was chosen to encourage audience engagement with pieces with which the audience could sing along.

This will be the band’s first time performing at Back Pew. Back Pew Brewing has a fun and relaxing atmosphere with lots of happy music. The performance came about as the result of the band’s desire to partner with a local brewery to encourage the community to attend a performance and have a good time. Dennis Eichler, Big Band Director, comments, “ We hope that the audience has a fun time singing, dancing and drinking some great beer.”
